Hosted by OTP Committee Chair Martha Arellano, MD, the July 2023 ASCO Quarterly Connections webinar focused on Letters of Recommendation and how to effectively separate the stars and superstars based on the letters, a process that has been increasingly difficult. The call also covered tips and tricks about how to interpret letters of recommendation, a helpful skill for Program Directors (PDs) and especially for less seasoned Associate Program Directors (APDs). The speakers were Daniel Chang, MD (University of Michigan) and Jeremy Cetnar, MD, MS (Oregon Health & Science University).
